I was referred to Dr Akhtar after rupturing my ACL while playing football. Throughout my treatment he has been exceptional in all departments. His friendly and reassuring approach was valuable in easing any fears that I initially had. 9 months post Op - I was back to playing football. 12 months post Op - I was running my fastest half marathon. He has given me a second chance doing the things I love the most and for that I cannot thank Dr Akhtar enough. If you need to see a knee consultant in London - without hesitation Dr Akhtar should be your first call.

Mr Kash Akhtar was professional and friendly, identified the potential issue, arranged an X-ray & MRI scan and based on the results described a course of action that has not involved surgery. He introduced me to other health professionals (physio) who have helped my recovery. This was all explained to me in non-medical terms and the treatment completed over three months.
